Shri Lohgadh: Goa Baithakji Number 43

Shri Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya stayed here under a tree by a large rock which had the impressions of an elephant’s footprint. Damala requested the guru, “This scenic place is full of souls who are ignorant by nature. If you speak the Bhagavata here, all these souls will be uplifted. Krishnadas Meghan then Said, “The only problem here is that there is no water.”

The guru then revealed, “On this mountain there is a waterfall and on the adjoining mountain there is a lake and under the rock with the elephant footprint there is a cave with three ponds. In one pond celestial ladies bath, in the second celestial musicians and in the third the gods with Indra at their head every full mood.”

Here Shri Mahaprabhuji spoke the Bhagavatam and by the sweet smell of his lotus feet, thousands of ignorant souls were liberated.
